    Whether you're learning for yourself, your family, or your profession, we'll help you build your knowledge step-by-step using clear explanations, practical examples and real-life case studies.
    Many health professionals begin with our 6 hour foundation course, Essential Ear Care.
    Others start with a resource that addresses a specific interest or learning need

    If you are looking to build confidence in ear assessment, otoscopy and common ear conditions, Essential Ear Care is an excellent place to start.
    As EME continues to grow, additional courses, resources and learning opportunities will become available for different levels of experience and areas of interest.

  • How are EME courses delivered?

    All EME courses are delivered online through our learning platform.
    We use a mix of videos, photos, diagrams, case studies, stories and practical explanations to make learning about ears easy to follow and relevant to real-life situations.
    You can learn when and where it suits you, and revisit lessons throughout your course access period

  • Can I learn at my own pace?

    Yes. Most EME courses are designed for self-paced learning, allowing you to study when and where it suits you.
    You can work through the lessons at your own speed, revisit key topics, and fit learning around your work, family and other commitments.
    We will send email reminders to help you complete your learning within the access period provided for your course

  • Can I share my login with others?

    No. Your EME account, course access and certificate are intended for one person only.
    Each learner must have their own individual account so that progress, course completion and certificates can be accurately recorded.
    If colleagues or team members would also like to learn, we offer team enrolment options and would be happy to discuss the best approach for your organisation

  • Do I need previous ear care experience?

    Not necessarily. Some EME courses are suitable for beginners, while others are designed for health professionals or practitioners wishing to build on their existing knowledge and skills.
    Each course description clearly explains who the course is intended for and any recommended prior knowledge or experience.

  • Will I receive a certificate?

    Yes. Certificates of completion are available for eligible courses and can be downloaded from your student dashboard once all course requirements have been successfully completed.

  • Can I learn on my phone, tablet or computer?

    Yes. It's easy to learn at home, at work, or on the go. You can access EME courses from computers, tablets and smartphones with an internet connection.
    Your learning progress is automatically recorded, allowing you to switch between devices and continue your learning where you left off

  • What resources are available?

    Ears Made Easy offers a growing collection of practical ear care resources designed to support learning, clinical practice and healthier ears.
    Resources may include fact sheets, guides, templates, checklists, learning aids and other tools to help you apply what you have learned.
    Some resources are available as standalone products, while others may be included with selected courses or membership community benefits

  • Can resources be downloaded and printed?

    It depends on the individual resource.
    Many resources can be downloaded and printed for personal use, while others may only be available online as part of a course or membership community.
    Unless otherwise stated, you may print one copy for your personal us

  • Do I need to join the membership community to enrol in a course?

    No. Courses and membership can be purchased separately. Membership offers additional benefits including pricing advantages, exclusive resources, ongoing learning opportunities and extra support from the Ears Made Easy community

    Members currently enjoy a monthly live Q&A session with Theresa, a monthly "Focused On..." education session exploring specific ear care topics, access to selected resources at no additional cost, and reduced pricing on selected EME courses including Essential Ear Care.
    The MicroEarCare Collective also provides opportunities to ask questions, share experiences, receive support and learn from both Theresa and fellow members.
    Additional member benefits may be introduced as the Collective continues to grow

    No. EME courses and the MicroEarCare Collective can be accessed separately.
    You do not need to be a member to enrol in an EME course, and many learners choose to purchase courses on their own.

  • Will I learn otoscopy?

    Yes. Otoscopy is covered fully within our foundation course, Essential Ear Care, which has been specifically designed for frontline health professionals.

    You will learn the EME Otoscopy Technique: a practical, step-by-step approach to using an otoscope safely, comfortably and effectively to obtain the best possible view of the ear canal and eardrum.

    You will also learn how to recognise common ear conditions and use your observations to support accurate assessment, decision making and client care.

    As additional Spotlight Topic courses are released, learners will have opportunities to build their knowledge, confidence and practical skills in specific areas of ear care

  • Can our team enrol and learn together?

    Yes. Many organisations choose to enrol multiple team members so they can develop a shared approach to ear assessment and care.

    Learning together helps build consistent knowledge, skills and language across the team, making it easier to provide high-quality care and support for clients and patients.

    Organisations can purchase multiple learning seats and allocate them to team members when required, helping them balance learning, staffing and workflow requirements.

    Each participant receives their own individual learning account so they can track their progress and receive their own certificate of completion where applicable.

    EME uses secure online payment processing to make purchasing simple and convenient.
    Available payment methods are displayed during checkout and may include major credit cards, debit cards and other payment options supported by our learning platform.

  • What is your refund policy?

    EME offers a fair refund policy.
    If, within 14 days of purchase, you have completed at least 40% of the course and are not satisfied with the learning experience, please contact us to discuss a refund request.
    We may ask a few questions to better understand your concerns and help us improve our learning products and services.
    If you simply need more time to complete your learning, please contact us. We are often able to provide a reasonable extension to your course access period.

  • How long will I have access to my course?

    Access periods vary between courses and will be clearly stated before purchase.
    We encourage learners to complete their studies within the access period while making use of the course resources, reminders and support available.
    If you are unsure about the access period for a particular course, please check the course description, your account page or contact us before enrolling.
