Introduction:
Feeling unsure about ear care is frustrating. You want to quickly identify the problem, use the best techniques, give clear answers; but without the right knowledge, second guessing yourself can become the norm.
You’ve done your best to learn about ear care on your own by asking others, reading articles or even taking online courses. But no matter how much you search, the information always feels incomplete.
When you’re face-to-face with your clients, you need more than just bits and pieces. You need a structured, reliable education that gives you the confidence to diagnose and treat ear conditions optimally, independently!
That’s exactly what our MicroEarCare course is designed to provide - clear, practical training that bridges the gaps and gives you the knowledge & skills you actually need in YOUR clinic.
What's more, you’ll be learning with a group of your peers in an interactive experience, complete with Q&A sessions in every class.
We’ll cover everything you need to know: theory, hands-on techniques and best practices so you can deliver excellent MicroEarCare for your clients safely, accurately, with confidence!
What some winter course students have just said...
Bronwyn Robertson NZRN, Ear Suction Nurse - Taranaki NZ This course has been valuable for enhancing my skills in the craft of ear micro suction. Theresa is friendly and knowledgeable - with the content being specific to our scope of practice and the environments we work in. Seeing images of the canal and conditions as viewed via the microscope is really helpful. Everything taught has direct application to my ear microsuction practice. Theresa has excellent resources and advice regarding all aspects of running an ear suction clinic. There is room to ask questions and discuss how we practice. It is nice to have support in this role. |
Pauline NZRN, Medical Centre, Waikato NZ An extremely well presented and comprehensive course. Very informative and great advice and tips on dealing with those hard to manage ears. Theresa shares her fountain of knowledge from over 30yrs of hands on care and always has time for explanations and followup to questions. |
Sarah Denton NZRN, Ear Health Nurse - Timaru NZ I write these words to motivate every ear nurse in NZ who wants to learn more or works alone! I am enjoying the collaboration and support for each other that we are experiencing within our small group as we learn live-online together. Four years ago I was trained to use a head loupe for earwax microsuction, which worked well. However, more recently I was trained to use an ENT microscope which offers far greater visibility. While confident in my abilities to perform earwax removal safety, I wanted to gain the ability to assess and confidently provide a nursing diagnosis for other ear-related conditions and be able to provide safe, effective and low-cost advice and treatment options for my clients. An email featuring Theresa’s 'Ear Made Easy’ website dropped into my inbox at just the right time. The Practical MicroEarCare-Live course was just what I had been looking for - Education, Support, Advice, Guidance, Net-working, Trouble-Shooting, Tools, Resources; all the help I need to improve my practice, refine my skills, and gain the confidence I need to build my service from earwax removal into a comprehensive micro-ear care service. Theresa is very knowledgeable and skilled in MicroEarCare. She is also energetic, enthusiastic and passionate about sharing her knowledge and skills with others. We have just completed week six of the course and the improvements I have been able to make already, to the overall service I provide, is amazing. If it is possible, I am now even more excited, enthusiastic and passionate about the MicroEarCare service I can provide. |
